I'm not really into idle games but I had a good time with this. BGM puts you into a tranquil mood, ideal for fishing on a lonely island. The conveyer belt is a nice way to add a dynamic element and the build-out/automation piece could make for an interesting mid-game. I'm not quite sure why the conveyors are necessary, but I am intrigued as to how the game ends up looking later on as I expand to different islands and set up an automated fishing op.

Unfortunately the fishing itself really doesn't feel great to me. The animation of casting out the rod isn't there, no fish visual after you catch it (even an icon would be nice), the rod enters the water at a weird angle, there is a missed opportunity in getting an extra lucky fish if you "pull" at the right time. The UI could use some polish as well. SFX are decent but not particularly satisfying. The block-pixel look and BGM are doing a lot of work in keeping the vibes up.

Overall this has potential as an idle game. Work on the visuals! Oh, and don't gate on login/signup -- a lot of users will drop out if you do that, even if its free. Have them play without signup, then prompt it when they're about to leave
